Obtaining a Reduced Fare Application
Customers seeking a reduced fare rate can apply by completing an application and submitting it to a licensed physician for review.
Eligible applicants will receive a permanent or temporary Reduced Fare I.D. Card once the physician returns the completed application to the Cadillac/Wexford Transit Authority (WexExpress), and you visit our transit offices to have a photo ID created. The I.D. card must be shown to the driver when boarding the bus.
Reduced Fare I.D. cards are valid until the expiration date printed on the card. Replacement cards are available for $5.00.
Please note that applicants must complete the entire process before the bus operator can offer the reduced fare rate.
The Cadillac/Wexford Transit Authority reserves the right to verify certification forms and will report any detected fraud to the proper authorities. We also collaborate with local agencies and entities to certify recipients who meet the eligibility requirements for the Reduced Fare I.D. Card.
