How do I change my default payment method?
Changing your default payment method in the WexExpress app is quick and straightforward. You can follow either of the two methods below:
Method 1: Using the Payment Method Icon
- Open the WexExpress rider app on your device.
- Tap on the current payment method icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This icon may display as "Cash" or "Ticket/Punch Card".
- When the payment method screen appears, select the new payment method you want to use for your rides.
Method 2: Using the Menu
- Open the WexExpress rider app on your device.
- Tap on the three lines (menu) icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap on your name to open your account details.
- Under the "Account Details" section, select "Payment Method".
- Choose the payment method you want to set as your default.

⚠️ Please use caution when changing your default payment method. The selected payment method will be used for your next ride. If a credit card is set as your default payment method, the app will bill your credit card immediately at pickup, and the driver will not be able to change this.
